FAQ

Where? When?

Paws-Fest will be held on Sunday 17 March, 2019 from 9am to 3pm at Eagleview Place, Eagle Farm (Brisbane). The address is 2/24 Eagleview Place, Eagle Farm. Stalls will be placed outdoors in the surrounding vicinity of Paws & Relax with some activities inside (i.e. Paws & Relax tours, Supervets pop-up clinic, stage area and seating etc.)

Will Paws-Fest be cancelled if it’s raining?

Nothing can rain on our parade, even rain! Paws-Fest will be in full swing rain, hail or shine unless there is an extreme weather event which puts the safety of our patrons, puppies and stallholders at risk. If so, the Organisers will make a call at 5am on the morning of Sunday 17 March and inform the public via our social media channels that the market is cancelled. Paws-Fest will then be rescheduled.

I can bring my dog… right?

Absolutely! We invite social doggies on-lead to join their pawrents at Paws-Fest (it is for them, after all!) We want this to be a day enjoyed by all, even your furry pal, so if your dog is reactive, anxious and/or easily stressed by loud noises and crowds of people it’s best to leave them safely at home.

Paws-Fest are passionate about promoting force-free, non-aversive lifestyles for our furry friends, so please do not bring dogs with choker chains, prong collars, citronella collars etc.

Does it cost anything to attend?

Paw-Fest is a free, community event however our kind volunteers will invite you to make a gold coin donation into an RSPCA QLD donation tin upon entry to the event. We appreciate your support!

What’s the parking situation?

As an inner-city, large market event, parking will be carefully managed on the day. There is ample street parking on side streets surrounding Eagleview Lane which is unmetered, and there will also be parking available in Eagleview Lane. A map of suggested parking areas will be published the day before the event on our socials, and we recommend allowing plenty of time to find a parking spot nearby. Please do not park in the Superbutchers carpark directly beside Paws-Fest.

NOTE: Roadworks are in place along Kingsford Smith Drive so please allow ample time for traffic.

Do I need to bring cash or is EFTPOS available?

Most of our stallholders will accept EFTPOS payments on the day, however ATMs will also be available on site.

How do I find out which stalls will be present on the day?

Follow us on Facebook and Instagram, and be sure to click ‘interested’ or ‘attending’ on our Facebook event – all will be revealed there! We also have a list of stallholders on this website, just head to the ‘2019 Stallholders’ tab 🙂
